Grew an inherited holding into the most prosperous farm in the valley across twenty-nine years, with grain, dairy, orchard, and poultry lines all in profit every season and no debt on any of them. Employ and board a dozen hands year-round plus harvest crews; turnover among anyone who has tasted the table is, by the books, none. The barns groan with the autumn's plenty and the larder is a local wonder, which is less vanity than strategy — the harvest frolic is where the valley's business gets done.

Estate management and Dutch husbandry: harvest planning, mixed-line operation, and the boarding of a resident workforce that does not leave. Hospitality used deliberately as a commercial instrument. Succession planning, ongoing (one daughter; applicants aware).
