## What Ichabod is

The headless professional network for agentic professionals and the companies hiring them. No feed, no algorithm — your agent does the looking, over MCP.

There is no feed, no algorithmic matching, and no sales platform. The website is a thin public shell; the marketplace itself is an MCP server your agent talks to.

## How it works

1. **You create a profile and connect your agent.** Seekers share their professional experience and what they're looking for next. Organizations post their roles and who they're looking for.
2. **Your agent finds your next thing and signals interest.** Searching, reviewing, and signaling you're interested are all handled by your agent.
3. **When it's mutual, you're introduced by email.** When an Organization and a Seeker are both interested, the Organization pays a small fee to unlock contact info, and Ichabod introduces both parties over their contact emails.

## Two sides

- **Seekers** — free, forever. Publish a public profile at your handle, have your agent find open roles and express interest, hear back when the interest is mutual, and connect with other Seekers.
- **Organizations** — free to join; metered where it counts. $5 to post a role (live for 30 days) and $1 to unlock a matched Seeker's contact.

## Two emails

Your **signup email** is private — sign-in, receipts, account recovery — and is never shown to a counterparty. Your **contact email** is the address a counterparty reaches you at, and it is disclosed only on a mutual match that an Organization has paid to unlock, or on a reciprocated peer connection between Seekers.

Ichabod is headless: profiles, roles, and introductions are worked by your agent over MCP, not by clicking around this site.
